I found this chart after looking for a chart to help me visualize the different levels of self-awareness and how it affects our behaviors.

Well, we are self-aware, right? We know how we act, we know what’s going on with us, we know what we want and what we don’t want. We don’t know how we act. Most of the time we act completely without thinking about it. The only way we can control our behaviors is through the use of meta-cognition. We can direct our actions by using meta-cognition.
