This butter in hot cocoa recipe is a favorite for me. Made with a little vanilla extract, this easy dessert recipe is perfect for summer nights.

If you enjoy buttery desserts, you’ll probably love this recipe. In fact, I’ve made it at least a dozen times and always come out the same way: delicious. And for those of you who are like me and don’t like the flavor of too much cocoa, this recipe is a great way to add a little extra heat to your summer evening.

All you need is a handful of butter, a little baking powder, baking soda, and a few sticks of chocolate chips. After youve mixed the dry ingredients, pour half a stick of chopped chocolate into a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for about 30 seconds or so. Whisk the ingredients together and pour the mixture into the chocolate. Stir with a spoon or spatula until the mixture is evenly mixed.

Some people may have an aversion to chocolate, but it’s not uncommon for people to get a great deal of chocolate on hand. Chocolate isn’t that bad — or at all — for a chocolate lover.
