This recipe is for the red bud jelly recipe that I have posted on my blog and on social media for the last 3 years. It was a favorite of my husband and I for a long time. The recipe is adapted from one from a local restaurant in the USA. The original recipe calls for using green tea, but I think that would be too strong. Instead I added more green tea and salt, added some pepper, and left it in the fridge for a couple of hours. I ended up adding more more chili powder and ginger. The recipe is adapted from a recipe I wrote about in the video.

The chili recipe has always been one of my favorites, but I used to make it myself. It was the only recipe that I was able to make that I was comfortable with, and it was the last recipe I made. I had no idea what to do with the leftover chili. My first thought was to add it to a pot of soup or a chili sauce, but I didn’t have the right ingredients. I’m glad I didn’t add it to a chili or any other dish.
