A colorful and festive 4th of July Trifle featuring layers of angel food cake, berries, and creamy vanilla pudding.

  • 1 box Angel Food Cake Mix Prepared according to package directions
  • 3.4 oz Vanilla Instant Pudding Mix
  • 3 cups Milk Cold
  • 8 oz Whipped Topping Thawed
  • 2 cups Fresh Strawberries Sliced
  • 1 cup Fresh Blueberries
  • 1 cup Fresh Raspberries

Preparation Steps

  • Prepare angel food cake according to package directions. Let cool completely and cut into 1-inch cubes.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together instant pudding mix and milk until smooth. Fold in whipped topping.
  • In a trifle bowl or large glass bowl, layer angel food cake cubes, pudding mixture, strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries.
  • Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of berries.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

For a boozy twist, you can add a splash of rum or liqueur to the pudding mixture.
