7-Layer Meatball Casserole

This easy 7-Layer Meatball Casserole is a delicious and comforting meal perfect for a weeknight dinner. It features layers of meatballs, veggies, and cheese, all baked to bubbly perfection.

  • 1 lb Ground beef Lean ground beef recommended
  • 1 package Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup Bread crumbs
  • 1 jar Marinara sauce 24 ounces
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese Shredded
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese Grated
  • 1 can Mixed vegetables Drained

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, and Italian seasoning. Form into meatballs.
  • In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of marinara sauce. Layer half of the meatballs, followed by half of the mixed vegetables and half of the mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers. Top with parmesan cheese.
  • Bake for 40 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve with garlic bread or a side salad for a complete meal. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
