Crispy, golden, and juicy Air Fryer Chicken Tenders that are incredibly quick and easy to make, perfect for weeknight dinners or lunches!

  • 1.25 lbs chicken tenders
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • black pepper to taste
  • 0.5 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 cup seasoned panko
  • olive oil spray generously
  • lemon wedges for serving

Preparation Steps

  • Season chicken tenders with salt and pepper.
  • Place beaten eggs in a shallow bowl. In a second shallow bowl, combine the seasoned breadcrumbs and panko.
  • Dip each chicken tender first into the egg mixture, then into the breadcrumb and panko mixture, shaking off excess. Place on a large dish or cutting board. Spray both sides of the coated chicken generously with olive oil spray.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • In batches, cook the chicken tenders in the air fryer for 5 to 6 minutes on each side, until the chicken is cooked through and crispy and golden on the outside. Serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Notes

These tenders are best served fresh. For a healthier option, you can adjust the seasoning in the breadcrumbs. Ensure not to overcrowd the air fryer for optimal crispiness.
