Instructions
Preparation Steps
Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add crushed tomatoes, oregano, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
Reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened to your liking, stirring occasionally.
Serve over your favorite pasta.
Notes
Add a pinch of sugar to balance the acidity of the tomatoes, if desired. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
