  • 1.5 cups All-purpose flour Measure correctly.
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter Softened
  • 2 large Eggs At room temperature
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp Baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp Cinnamon

Frosting

  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter Softened
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 0.5 tsp Vanilla extract

Instructions
 

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tin with cupcake liners.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Fill each cupcake liner about 2/3 full.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • For the frosting, beat together the powdered sugar, butter, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  • Frost the cupcakes once they are completely cooled.
