A quick and delicious avocado toast recipe with crumbled feta cheese, a sprinkle of red pepper flakes, and a drizzle of olive oil.

  • 2 slices bread your favorite kind, toasted
  • 50 grams feta cheese crumbled
  • 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper freshly ground, to taste

Preparation Steps

  • Toast the bread slices to your desired level of crispiness.
  • While the bread is toasting, mash the ripe avocado in a small bowl with a fork. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Spread the mashed avocado evenly over the toasted bread slices.
  • Crumble the feta cheese over the avocado.
  • Sprinkle with red pepper flakes and drizzle with olive oil.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

This recipe is very adaptable. You can add a squeeze of lime juice to the avocado, or top with a poached egg for extra protein.
