Bacon Cheeseburger Tater Tot Casserole

Ingredients
- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 10 strips bacon diced
- 1 small onion diced
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 cups milk
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 dash hot sauce optional
- 3 cups cheddar cheese shredded, plus extra for topping
- 12-16 ounces frozen mixed vegetables
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- to taste salt and pepper
- 32 ounces frozen tater tots
Instructions
Brown the beef, bacon, onion, and garlic in a large skillet over medium heat until the beef is no longer pink. Stir in the flour, then add the milk, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until thickened; remove from heat and stir in cheddar, vegetables, sour cream, salt, and pepper.
Spray a slow cooker with nonstick spray. Arrange some tater tots in the bottom, pour the beef mixture over them, and place the remaining tots on top.
Cover and cook on low for 3 to 3 1/2 hours. Sprinkle extra cheddar over the top during the final 10 minutes, cover, and finish cooking.
Serve hot.
