  • 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.75 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoons Melted butter
  • 2 medium Apples Peeled, cored, and diced

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the milk and melted butter. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Gently fold in the diced apples.
  • Drop spoonfuls of batter onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

For a sweeter fritter, dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with glaze after baking.
