Ingredients
  

Cake

  • 1 box Yellow Cake Mix plus ingredients called for on the box
  • 1.25 cups Milk

Pudding

  • 5.1 oz Instant Banana Cream Pudding Mix
  • 3 cups Milk

Topping

  • 8 oz Whipped Topping
  • 3 Bananas Sliced Bananas for garnish

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare cake mix according to package directions in a 9x13 inch pan.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool for 15 minutes.
  • While the cake is still warm, poke holes all over the cake using a fork or wooden spoon handle.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the banana cream pudding mix and milk until smooth. Pour the pudding mixture evenly over the cake, making sure it gets into the holes.
  • Cover the cake with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight.
  • Before serving, spread the whipped topping evenly over the cake. Garnish with sliced bananas.

Notes

For best results, use ripe but firm bananas. You can also add chopped nuts or other toppings of your choice.
