Banana Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread

A delicious and moist bread combining the flavors of banana, pumpkin, and chocolate chips.

  • 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 cup Butter, softened
  • 0.75 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.25 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup Mashed ripe bananas
  • 1 cup Pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the mashed bananas, pumpkin puree, and vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Stir in the chocolate chips.
  • Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Enjoy this bread warm or at room temperature. It's also great toasted with butter.
