Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet, brown beef over medium-high heat until browned on all sides. Remove beef and set aside.
In the same skillet, add onions and carrots. Cook for about 5 minutes until onions are translucent.
Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually add beef broth, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil and reduce heat.
Add the beef back to the skillet along with peas. Simmer for 15 minutes.
Roll out the bottom pie crust and place it in a 9-inch pie dish. Pour the beef mixture into the crust.
Cover with the top crust, seal edges, and cut slits in the top to allow steam to escape.
Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
Notes
Let the pie cool for 10 minutes before serving.
