Beef Shanks

Tender and flavorful beef shanks braised to perfection.

  • 2 lbs Beef Shanks
  • 1 cup Chopped Onions
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 1 tsp Salt

Instructions
 

Preparation Steps

  • Season beef shanks with salt and pepper.
  • Sear beef shanks in a large pot or Dutch oven until browned on all sides.
  • Add onions and garlic to the pot and cook until softened.
  • Pour in beef broth, bring to a simmer, cover, and braise for 2-3 hours, or until beef is very tender.

Notes

Serve with mashed potatoes or your favorite side dish.
