  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce Low sodium
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tsp Ground black pepper Freshly cracked
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp Ginger powder
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 1 medium Onion Chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 0.25 cup Chicken broth

Preparation Steps

  • In a bowl, combine chicken with soy sauce, honey, black pepper, garlic powder, and ginger powder. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add marinated chicken and cook until browned on all sides.
  • Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
  • Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Cook until the sauce has slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
  • Serve hot with rice or noodles. Garnish with green onions if desired.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the marinade.
