Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch square baking pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Cut in the cold butter using a pastry blender or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg and milk. Add to the flour mixture and stir until just combined.
Gently fold in the blueberries.
Pour batter into the prepared pan.
In a small bowl, combine topping ingredients and crumble over the batter.
Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool in the pan before serving.
