  • 0.5 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 0.5 cup cold unsalted butter cut into small pieces

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine blueberries, flour, oats, sugars, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • Cut in the cold butter using a pastry blender or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Pour the mixture over the blueberries and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.
