Blueberry Crumble Recipe

An easy and delicious blueberry crumble with perfectly cooked blueberries topped with a buttery oat topping.

  • 4 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup rolled oats
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.125 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Add the blueberries, lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of flour, and 2 tablespoons of sugar to a 9-inch baking dish. Toss well until combined.
  • In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup flour, rolled oats, 0.5 cup sugar, and salt. Add the melted butter and stir until the topping is crumbly.
  • Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the blueberry filling.
  • Bake for 35 minutes, until the juices thicken and the topping turns light golden brown. Cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for the best experience.
