Bourbon Peach Jam

A delightful homemade peach jam infused with the subtle warmth of bourbon. Perfect for spreading on toast or biscuits.

  • 4 cups peeled and sliced ripe peaches
  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup bourbon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 package liquid pectin

Preparation Steps

  • Combine peaches, sugar, bourbon, and lemon juice in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly.
  • Stir in liquid pectin. Return to a rolling boil and boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  • Remove from heat and skim off any foam. Ladle hot jam into sterilized jars, leaving 1/4 inch headspace.
  • Process in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes.

Notes

Allow the jam to cool completely before storing. Enjoy!
