Instructions
Preparation Steps
Combine oats, milk, and chia seeds (if using) in a saucepan.
Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
Cook for 5 minutes, or until the oats are softened and the mixture has thickened.
Remove from heat and stir in maple syrup (or honey).
Pour into bowls and top with berries and nuts (if using). Serve immediately.
