Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a medium bowl, combine diced tomatoes, chopped basil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Sear chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown.
Top each chicken breast with the tomato mixture.
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
