Easy and delicious salmon patties made with canned salmon, perfect for a quick weeknight meal.

  • 14.75 oz canned salmon drained
  • 0.5 cup bread crumbs plain
  • 0.25 cup onion finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • tsp salt to taste
  • tsp black pepper to taste

Preparation Steps

  • In a bowl, combine canned salmon, bread crumbs, onion, egg, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  • Form the mixture into patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook patties for 5-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Serve with tartar sauce or a squeeze of lemon for extra flavor. These patties are also great in sandwiches or on top of salads.
