Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
Place skirt steak in a resealable bag and pour marinade over it. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours in the refrigerator.
Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Grill or pan-fry the steak for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing thinly against the grain.
Assemble the bowls by layering rice, black beans, sliced steak, avocado, salsa, and cilantro.
Notes
Feel free to add other toppings like sour cream, cheese, or corn.
