Cassava Flour Tortillas

Delicious and easy-to-make cassava flour tortillas. Perfect for gluten-free wraps and tacos!

  • 1.5 cup Cassava Flour finely ground
  • 1 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1 cup Warm Water
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil

Preparation Steps

  • In a large bowl, combine cassava flour and salt.
  • Slowly add warm water and olive oil to the flour mixture, mixing until a dough forms.
  • Knead the dough for 2-3 minutes until smooth.
  • Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and roll each into a ball.
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll each ball into a thin circle, about 6-7 inches in diameter.
  • Heat a dry skillet or griddle over medium heat. Cook each tortilla for about 1-2 minutes per side, or until lightly browned and pliable.
  • Keep tortillas warm in a towel or tortilla warmer until ready to serve.

Notes

These tortillas are best served immediately. They can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, but they may become brittle.
