Chantilly Cake Recipe

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Divide batter evenly between prepared cake pans.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.

Notes

For the frosting, use whipped cream and fresh berries. Let the cake cool completely before frosting.
