  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 1 can Diced Tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • 1 cup Mixed Vegetables frozen

Cheddar Bay Biscuit Topping

  • 1 cup Baking Mix like Bisquick
  • 0.5 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 0.33 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoons Melted Butter
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Dried Parsley

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain off any excess grease.

  • Add onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

  • Stir in beef broth, diced tomatoes, and mixed vegetables. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.

  • While the beef mixture is simmering, prepare the cheddar bay biscuit topping. In a medium bowl, combine baking mix, cheddar cheese, and milk. Stir until just combined.

  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the beef mixture is bubbling.
