cheeseburger pasta recipe

A quick, easy, and cheesy 7-ingredient cheeseburger pasta that comes together in one pot for the perfect weeknight dinner.
Prep : 10 Total : 25 minutes

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 16 oz uncooked macaroni pasta
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 0.25 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • In a large skillet or Dutch oven, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat until no longer pink. Drain any excess grease.
  • Add the beef broth, milk, ketchup, and yellow mustard to the skillet, stirring well to combine with the cooked beef.
  • Stir in the uncooked macaroni pasta and bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
  • Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and the liquid is mostly absorbed.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until completely melted and the sauce is creamy. Serve hot.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop or in the microwave, adding a splash of milk if needed to restore creaminess.
