Cheesy Beef and Potatoes Skillet

  • 1.5 lbs Beef Stew Meat
  • 2 lbs Potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup Chopped Onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Instructions
 

Preparation Steps

  • In a large skillet, brown the beef stew meat over medium-high heat.
  • Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened.
  • Stir in the potatoes and beef broth. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and cover. Cook for 30 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
  • Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
  • Serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce or a teaspoon of dried thyme.
