Cherry Limeade Recipe

A refreshing and tangy cupcake recipe perfect for summer, combining the sweet taste of cherries with the zesty flavor of limeade.

  • 2.5 cups All-Purpose Flour spooned and leveled
  • 1.5 cups Granulated Sugar
  • 3.5 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter softened
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 0.75 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Cherry Limeade

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add softened butter and mix until crumbly. Add eggs, milk, vanilla extract and limeade, and mix until just combined.
  • Fill cupcake liners about 2/3 full.
  • Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Garnish with whipped cream and a cherry on top for a festive look!
