Chicken Buttered Noodles

  • 1.5 lbs Chicken breast cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 lb Egg noodles
  • 0.5 cup Butter
  • 0.5 cup Chicken broth
  • 0.25 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Cook the egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through.
  • Sprinkle flour over the chicken and butter mixture. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  • Gradually whisk in chicken broth and heavy cream until smooth. Bring to a simmer.
  • Stir in garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
  • Add cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to coat. Serve immediately.

Notes

Garnish with fresh parsley for added flavor and presentation.
