Chicken Casserole

A creamy and comforting chicken casserole, perfect for a weeknight meal.

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts cooked and shredded
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup 10.5 ounce
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup 10.5 ounce
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 package frozen mixed vegetables 10 ounce, thawed
  • 0.25 cup butter melted
  • 1 can butter crackers 4.4 ounce, crushed

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and milk. Mix well.
  • Stir in the thawed mixed vegetables.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In a small bowl, combine the crushed crackers with the melted butter. Sprinkle evenly over the top of the casserole.
  • Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until bubbly and lightly browned.
  • Let stand for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

This casserole is best served hot. You can add other vegetables like peas or corn if desired.
