Chicken Cordon Bleu

Classic Chicken Cordon Bleu recipe with crispy breaded chicken, ham, and melted Swiss cheese.

  • 4 oz Boneless, skinless chicken breasts Pounded to 0.25-inch thickness
  • 4 slices Cooked ham
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 0.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 Large eggs Beaten
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Panko recommended
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on top of each chicken breast. Roll up tightly and secure with toothpicks.
  • Dredge each chicken roll in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown the chicken rolls on all sides.
  • Transfer the chicken rolls to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
  • Remove toothpicks before serving.

Notes

Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
