Chocolate Croissant Bake

A simple and delicious breakfast bake made with chocolate croissants, perfect for a weekend treat.

  • 6 large Chocolate Croissants day-old, sliced
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 2 cups Milk whole milk recommended
  • 0.5 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips semi-sweet or dark

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Arrange the sliced chocolate croissants in the prepared baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
  • Pour the egg mixture evenly over the croissants in the baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the custard is set and the top is golden brown.
  • Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!

Notes

This bake can be made ahead of time and refrigerated overnight. Bake as directed in the morning.
