Delicious chocolate hazelnut cookies, perfect for a sweet treat. These cookies are soft, chewy, and full of rich chocolate and nutty hazelnut flavor.

  • 0.5 cup Cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 0.5 tsp Baking soda
  • 0.25 tsp Salt
  • 0.75 cup Unsalted butter softened
  • 0.75 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.25 cup Brown sugar packed
  • 1 Large egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Chopped hazelnuts toasted
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips semi-sweet

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.

  • In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

  • Beat in egg and vanilla extract.

  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Stir in hazelnuts and chocolate chips.

  • Drop by rounded tablespoons onto the prepared baking sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are set.
  • Let cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
