Cranberry Chutney Recipe

A delicious cranberry chutney that pairs well with turkey, pork, or served as a holiday appetizer.

  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup granulated sugar or to taste
  • 1 cup orange juice freshly squeezed
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground cloves

Preparation Steps

  • In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, sugar, and orange juice.
  • Cook over medium heat until the cranberries begin to pop, about 10 minutes.
  • Reduce heat to low, stir in cinnamon and cloves, and simmer for an additional 20 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature before serving.

Notes

This chutney can be made up to a week in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
