Cream Cheese Garlic Alfredo Sauce

  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Softened
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese Freshly grated
  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 2 tbsp Butter Unsalted
  • 0.25 tsp Salt Or to taste
  • 0.125 tsp Black Pepper Freshly ground, to taste

Preparation Steps

  • Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add cream cheese and heavy cream to the saucepan. Whisk until the cream cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened to your desired consistency.
  • Serve immediately over your favorite pasta, vegetables, or as a dipping sauce.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use full-fat cream cheese and heavy cream. You can also add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a touch of heat. This sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
