  • 1 box Bowtie Pasta
  • 1 medium Onion diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 cup Beef Broth low sodium
  • 0.5 cup Heavy Cream
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan Cheese grated
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black Pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  • Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the beef broth and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Cook until the sauce has thickened slightly, about 2 minutes.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.

Notes

Garnish with fresh parsley or a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese before serving. For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
