A comforting and flavorful Creamy Garlic Chicken recipe, perfect for a weeknight dinner. Tender chicken breasts simmered in a rich and creamy garlic sauce.

  • 1.5 lbs Boneless, skinless chicken breasts Cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 cup Chicken broth Low sodium
  • 0.5 cup Heavy cream
  • 0.25 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Dried Italian herbs
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Chopped fresh parsley For garnish

Preparation Steps

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  • Add garlic to the skillet and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  • Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook until sauce has thickened slightly, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Return chicken to the skillet and simmer for another 2-3 minutes, until heated through and coated in sauce.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes for a complete meal.
