These easy and crispy air fryer chicken nuggets are perfectly golden on the outside and tender on the inside. Made with simple pantry ingredients and cooked in under 15 minutes!

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs

Preparation Steps

  • Cut the chicken breasts into 1-inch cubes.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well combined.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes.
  • Add the chicken pieces to the bowl with the butter mixture and toss gently until all pieces are evenly coated.
  • Pour the Panko breadcrumbs into a large zip-top bag. Add the coated chicken pieces, seal the bag, and shake well to coat the chicken completely in the breadcrumbs.
  • Place the chicken nuggets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not touch. Cook in batches if necessary.
  • Air fry at 400°F for 5 minutes. Flip the nuggets over and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until golden brown, crispy, and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).

Notes

For extra crispiness, lightly spray the breaded chicken nuggets with olive oil spray before air frying.
