Crock Pot Shrimp Boil

A flavorful and easy crock pot shrimp boil, perfect for a crowd.

  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound smoked sausage cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 pound red potatoes quartered
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 0.25 cup butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon old bay seasoning
  • 2 ears corn on the cob cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 medium onion cut into wedges

Preparation Steps

  • In a large bowl, combine the shrimp, sausage, potatoes, chicken broth, melted butter, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, and Old Bay seasoning. Toss to coat evenly.
  • Pour the mixture into a slow cooker.
  • Add the corn and onion wedges on top of the shrimp mixture.
  • Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours, or until the potatoes are tender and the shrimp are cooked through.
  • Serve hot, with extra butter for dipping if desired.
