Crockpot Chicken Gravy

A comforting and easy slow cooker chicken and gravy recipe. Just dump the ingredients in the crockpot and let it work its magic. Perfect served over mashed potatoes or rice.

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 packets chicken gravy mix 0.87 oz each
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup 10.5 oz
  • 1 cup water or chicken broth
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker and season generously with salt and pepper.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, chicken gravy mix, and water or broth.
  • Pour the gravy mixture evenly over the seasoned chicken in the slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 6 hours, or on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours, until the chicken is tender and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  • Once cooked, use two forks to shred the chicken into bite-sized pieces directly in the slow cooker.
  • Stir the shredded chicken well to coat it completely in the gravy.
  • Serve warm over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles.

Notes

Store any leftover chicken and gravy in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
