Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker. Sprinkle with garlic powder and black pepper.
In a medium bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, and milk. Pour this mixture over the chicken.
Add the chopped onion on top of the chicken and soup mixture.
