Crockpot Chicken Spaghetti

  • 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 box spaghetti about 16 ounces
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup 10.5 ounce can
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup 10.5 ounce can
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.25 cup chopped onion
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker. Sprinkle with garlic powder and black pepper.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, and milk. Pour this mixture over the chicken.
  • Add the chopped onion on top of the chicken and soup mixture.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  • Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks. Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker.
  • While the chicken is cooking, cook the spaghetti according to package directions. Drain well.
  • Stir the cooked spaghetti and shredded cheese into the slow cooker with the chicken mixture. Stir until the cheese is melted and everything is well combined.
  • Serve hot.

Notes

This recipe can be easily adapted to include vegetables like peas or mushrooms. For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
