Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder.
In a separate large bowl, mix the melted butter and brown sugar until well combined.
Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, mixing until smooth.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring gently.
Fold in the dark chocolate chips and shredded coconut.
Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking dish and sprinkle extra coconut on top.
Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
