- 1.5 cups Whole Wheat Flour Unbleached
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 0.5 cup Unsweetened Applesauce
- 0.25 cup Peanut Butter Make sure it's xylitol-free
- 1 tablespoon Honey Optional
- 1 large Egg

- 0.5 cup Plain Greek Yogurt
- 1 tablespoon Peanut Butter

Preparation Steps
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 6-inch cake pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour and baking powder.
- In a separate bowl, combine the applesauce, peanut butter, honey (if using), and egg. Mix well.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- If making the frosting, mix the Greek yogurt and peanut butter together until smooth. Frost the cake once it is completely cooled.
