Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
2.5 cups all-purpose flour
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
2.5 cups all-purpose flour
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
2.5 cups all-purpose flour
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown. The centers should still look soft.
Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Once cooled, decorate the cookies with Easter-themed sprinkles or melted candy melts as desired.
2.5 cups all-purpose flour
