  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt until the sugar is mostly dissolved.
  • Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions. This usually takes about 20-25 minutes.
  • Once the ice cream is churned, transfer it to an airtight container and freeze for at least 2 hours to allow it to firm up. If you want to eat it later it can be freezed up to 2 weeks.

Notes

For a stronger cinnamon flavor, you can add an extra 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon. You can also add a splash of bourbon or rum for an extra kick.
