Ingredients
  

Salad Base

  • 1 head Romaine lettuce chopped
  • 1 cup Cranberries fresh or frozen, thawed
  • 1 cup Pears diced
  • 0.5 cup Walnuts chopped and toasted
  • 0.25 cup Feta cheese crumbled

Vinaigrette Dressing

  • 0.25 cup Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Honey
  • 0.5 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Preparation Steps

  • In a large bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce, cranberries, diced pears, toasted walnuts, and crumbled feta cheese.
  • In a small bowl or jar, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to coat all the ingredients.
  • Serve immediately as a festive side dish.

Notes

This salad can be prepared a few hours in advance, but it's best to dress it just before serving to prevent the lettuce from wilting.
