  • 8 oz Fresh ramen noodles
  • 4 cups Chicken broth Low sodium
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Gochujang (Korean chili paste) Adjust to taste

Creamy Garlic Sauce

  • 0.25 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 teaspoon Rice vinegar
  • 0.5 teaspoon Sugar

Toppings (Optional)

  • Green onions Sliced
  • Sesame seeds
  • Soft-boiled egg Halved

Preparation Steps

  • In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, minced garlic, rice vinegar, and sugar. Set aside.
  • Heat sesame oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned on all sides.
  • Pour in chicken broth, soy sauce, and gochujang. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
  • Add ramen noodles to the pot and cook according to package directions.
  • Divide ramen and broth among bowls. Drizzle with creamy garlic sauce and top with green onions, sesame seeds, and a soft-boiled egg, if desired.

Notes

Adjust the amount of gochujang to your desired level of spiciness. You can also add other vegetables such as bok choy or mushrooms to the ramen.
