Garlic Butter Pasta

  • 1 lb Spaghetti Or any pasta of your choice
  • 0.5 cup Butter Unsalted
  • 6 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 0.25 cup Fresh Parsley Chopped
  • 0.25 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese Optional
  • 1 tsp Salt To taste
  • 0.5 tsp Black Pepper To taste

Preparation Steps

  • Cook the spaghetti according to package directions. Reserve about 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  • While the pasta is cooking, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and cook for about 1-2 minutes, until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  • Add the cooked and drained spaghetti to the skillet with the garlic butter. Toss to coat.
  • Add some of the reserved pasta water to the skillet, a little at a time, until the sauce reaches your desired consistency.
  • Stir in the chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Toss to combine.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
