Instructions
Preparation Steps
Cook the spaghetti according to package directions. Reserve about 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
While the pasta is cooking, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and cook for about 1-2 minutes, until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
Add the cooked and drained spaghetti to the skillet with the garlic butter. Toss to coat.
Add some of the reserved pasta water to the skillet, a little at a time, until the sauce reaches your desired consistency.
Stir in the chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Toss to combine.
Serve immediately, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
